We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to customers in a timely and professional manner while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver orders to customers or businesses
- Load, transport, and unload items while preventing damage
- Verify delivery details and ensure accuracy of orders
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines
- Provide friendly and professional customer service upon delivery
- Handle payments when required and maintain accurate records
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the road
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Familiarity with GPS devices or navigation apps
